Sherdil<\/em>\u00a0continues to win steal hearts before the film’s release. The\u00a0film’s\u00a0producer and writer Nomaan Khan has announced that 20 percent of the film\u2019s proceeds will go to the PAF\u2019s Shaheed Fund.<\/p>\n

Perfect timing, it seems. On one hand, the PAF action drama Sherdil<\/em> is creating a lot of positive buzz, following the recent Indo-Pak tensions.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Sherdil is aiming to mobilize people for a patriotic cause, and give something back to the brave\u00a0jawaans\u00a0<\/em>who keep our borders safe.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ticket sales in Pakistan won’t be the only source of revenue. Sherdil<\/em> has bagged the leading distributors of foreign films for its Middle East shows as well. They even have a\u00a0Meekal Zulfiqar action figure from the film!<\/p>\n

The movie’s marketing machine is in full swing, releasing this song online:<\/p>\n

After two romantic\u00a0numbers (yes we wanted to see Armeena because we missed her in the trailer!), they released\u00a0Sanson mein baqi hai dum<\/em>\u00a0a new patriot anthem, just in time for Pakistan Day.<\/p>\n

The Buzz Around Sherdil<\/h3>\n

Sherdil<\/em>\u2019s teaser trailer came out on February, 21st.\u00a0The full-length trailer was dropped on March,\u00a05th. The trailer\u00a0created more buzz than other films set to release alongside it\u00a0Laal\u00a0Kabotaar<\/em> and\u00a0Project Ghazi.<\/em><\/p>\n

Its no surprise that\u00a0Sherdil<\/em> has been receiving\u00a0a lot of love. While the trailer and the patriot anthem stole our hearts right away, this recent decision by Noumaan Khan to donate their proceeds, it has us smitten.<\/p>\n

Sherdil<\/em>\u00a0release date is March 22nd, the eve of Pakistan Day.\u00a0 Mansha Pasha and Ali Kazmi’s\u00a0Laal Kabootar\u00a0<\/em>will also be released on the same date.<\/p>\n

We finally have\u00a0a reason to hit theaters rather than binge on Netflix.<\/p>\n
