Famed writer Umera Ahmed penned the script for the telefilm.<\/p>\n<p><em>Laal<\/em> is a patriot drama and from the looks of the trailer, we&#8217;ll be following a young boy from Baluchistan named Behram&#8217;s journey to become\u00a0a naval officer.<\/p>\n<p>From what we gathered from the teaser Behram is the son of a fisherman from Balochistan.<\/p>\n<p>We see\u00a0Saleem Mairaj in the role of the father. With actress Iffat Rahim in the role of the mother. The teaser reveals where the telefilm gets its&#8217; name.<\/p>\n<h3>Plot Details<\/h3>\n<p>When the father scolds his younger son Behram for not wanting to be a fisherman he calls his elder son &#8216;<em>Heera<\/em>&#8216; (diamond). Behram questions that if his brother is a gem then what is he. To which Iffat Umar replies &#8216;you&#8217;re my<em> Laal&#8217; <\/em>(ruby).<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not just the raw emotion in the shots that had us tearing up.
