The chairperson and the chief executive officer (CEO) of Warner Bros, Kevin Tsujihara, has resigned amid reports that he abused his power to help a Hollywood actress secure roles in exchange for sexual favors.<\/p>\n
The resignation news was confirmed by the parent company Warner Media. John Stankey, the CEO of Warner Media said that this was in the best interest of the company that Kevin Tsujihara steps down.<\/p>\n

The development came in the wake of a story published in The\u00a0<\/em>Hollywood Reporter<\/em>, revealing text messages between Kevin and the Ocean\u2019s 8<\/em> actress Charlotte Kirk, dating back to 2013.<\/p>\n
The chats between the studio\u2019s head and the Hollywood actress disclosed an illicit relationship between the two \u2013 and promises of \u2018help\u2019 in acquiring roles in movies and on television in return of sexual favors.<\/p>\n
Kevin confessed to the relationship with Kirk during an interview with Fox News but said it ended many years ago.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe release of the story by the Hollywood Reporter had nothing to do with me. In fact, I tried to prevent it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
