Faisal Qureshi just joined the cast of highly anticipated period drama Baadshah Begum<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The film-maker behind the web series\u00a0Rafay Rashdi broke the news.<\/p>\n

Rafay revealed that Baadshah Begum<\/strong> cast Faisal Qureshi as the antagonist.<\/p>\n

With Iman Ali as the lead, Faisal Qureshi is set to essay ‘the only ultimate, arch-rival & menacing, villain’ in the\u00a0web series.<\/p>\n

Other cast members include\u00a0Gohar Rasheed and Imran Ashraf. Fans were expecting Gohar to take up his\u00a0signature\u00a0spot of the antagonist but it seems Qureshi’s inclusion has changed all that.<\/p>\n

Faisal’s First Foray into Web Series?<\/h3>\n

Faisal Qureshi is considered a veteran actor in Pakistani showbiz circles. He has portrayed a range of different roles on both the small and big screen. His latest performances include acclaimed drama serials Haiwan <\/em>and Baba Jani.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Web series is a new medium for the actor.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Baadshah Begum<\/strong> marks Qureshi’s first time working in a web series. This is also his first time working with Bol<\/em> actress Iman Ali.<\/p>\n

“We’re in the initial stage right now. Working on the script and the characters, lots of other things. I’m very excited, Iman and I are working together for the first time.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Baadshah Begum Plot<\/h3>\n

The period drama Baadshah Begum<\/em>\u00a0will cover the subject of sibling rivalry. The plot will revolve around power dynamics and power struggles within a family and community. This will touch on the themes of inheritance, family politics, gender inequality, and male dominance.<\/p>\n

O Rangreza’s<\/em>\u00a0Saji Gul wrote the script.<\/p>\n

As for the\u00a0Baadshah Begum<\/em> release\u00a0date, it is yet to be announced.<\/p>\n
