Actor and comedian Yasir Hussain made a rather uncalled-for statement, this time about the transgender community. The actor attempted to use the word ‘transgender’ as an insult.<\/p>\n

The irony of the matter is that he’s going to portray a transgender woman on TV. And he made those insensitive remarks on a post which showcases his character in upcoming drama serial \u2018Help me Durdana<\/em><\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n

Yasir was clad in Asim Jofa, Nomi Ansari, Deepak and Fahad and Deepak Parwani\u00a0 \u2018sarees<\/em>\u2019 and thanked the designers for dressing him. Since he’s a man dressed as a woman, people assumed he’s playing a transgender woman.<\/p>\n

Some fans suggested that the role could have been better suited for someone who is a transgender themselves. They called for inclusivity.<\/p>\n

Yasir Hussain not only mocked the idea but ridiculed transgender people in the process.<\/p>\n

The guy who raised the issue clapped back of course. He advised Yasir to work on his insults because ‘transgender’ is no bad word.<\/p>\n
