To all the original Avengers<\/em> fans, Chris Hemsworth has come through for Thor 4<\/em><\/strong>. We assumed he would just be a Guardian of the Galaxy<\/em><\/strong> now, but now there’s more!<\/p>\n

While Avengers: Endgame saw an end to Chris Evans Captain America<\/em><\/strong> and Robert Downey Jr. Iron Man<\/em><\/strong> franchises. We thought it was the end of the Avengers. <\/em>We also know that\u00a0Thor went off-world with the Guardians of the Galaxy.<\/p>\n

While Natasha Romanoff is getting a spin-off series with Scarlet Johansson, we thought we would not be seeing any more of the original Avengers<\/em>. Oh and of course there’s Mark Rufallo’s Hulk too.<\/p>\n

Where Does Thor 4 Pick Up?<\/h3>\n

Thor 4<\/em><\/strong> will be a follow-up to Thor: Ragnarok<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/em>Meaning events after Avengers: Infinity War<\/em><\/strong> and Avengers: Endgame<\/em><\/strong>. We can assume that around half the Asgardians are dead (thanks to pre-Infinity War<\/em> Thanos), and those who aren’t are with Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) in Scandinavia.<\/p>\n

Loki’s death really tore him so Thor gave up the throne and the Avenger are no more post-Endgame<\/em>. So is the God of Thunder officially a Guardian<\/em> now?<\/p>\n

We’ll see Taika Waititi return in the director’s seat. The film-maker brought a special brand of cheeky humor to the third installment. Apparently the people at Marvel Studios liked him so much that he inked a deal to write and direct Thor 4<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Rumor has it as we explore the Nine Realms<\/em> in Thor,<\/em><\/strong> we might get to see Beta Ray Bill<\/em>. The hero was teased in Thor: Ragnorok <\/em><\/strong>as we see Beta Ray Bill’<\/em>s head on Sakaar’s tower as one of the wasteland’s former ‘champions<\/em>‘.<\/p>\n

Thor as a Guardian?<\/h3>\n

There is still a lot of speculation around whether or not Thor is a Guardian<\/em> now.<\/p>\n

Guardians of the Galaxy 3<\/strong> director James Gunn basically wings his scripts without any regard for ‘how it was supposed to be based on comics<\/em>‘.<\/p>\n\n
