The most recent Pakistani celebrity to come forward is Humaima Malik, who says she was abused, humiliated and beaten for several years.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Bol\u00a0<\/strong>actress made a post on Instagram, recounting her own experience when she was married and had to face torture and humiliation day and night.<\/p>\n

Humaima Malik Faced Domestic Abuse For Years<\/h3>\n

She begins:<\/p>\n

“Although it has been years but all those years and the pain filled days and nights still haunt me. I was only a 19-20 year old miserable young girl. Who couldn’t even share my screaming wounds with my family,\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Humaima Malik says that it was difficult to say these things, and it took her this long to muster up the courage and recount every single thing in sordid detail:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am shameful of my self today I didn\u2019t do anything for my self 3 years of abusive marriage, 7 years of another abusive relationship and it repeated again.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Under the hashtag #nomoresilence , Humaima told how harrowing this phase in her life was. So much that she goes on to say that she was beaten within an inch of her life.<\/p>\n

Ammara Hikmat Supports Her Account<\/h3>\n

Producer of\u00a0The Legend of Maula Jutt\u00a0<\/strong>Ammara Hikmat also lent her support to Humaima after she came forward with her experience. She also reposted Humaima’s Instagram story, while confirming that everything she said was true.<\/p>\n

Ammara states:<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are a very brave woman, I witnessed it firsthand and I am glad you pulled yourself out of it.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It should be mentioned that Humaima Malik was previously married to Pakistani actor and director Shamoom Abbasi. Their marriage could not last and ended up in divorce.<\/p>\n
