Bollywood’s Housefull 4<\/em><\/strong> is getting its bling on. According to reports, the film’s budget is already through the roof as the film-makers got two cinematographers to capture two eras, the 16th and the 21st century.<\/p>\n

It is now on track to become the biggest budgeted comedy in Bollywood. That’s just a formal way of saying most expensive.<\/p>\n

That benchmark of Bollywood’s most expensive comedy is as high as we think. Normally comedy films are not as pricey or big budgeted as action films. This is because action movies rely on elaborate visual effects work.<\/p>\n

Then why did Housefull<\/em><\/strong> film-maker Sajid Nadiadwala decide to pump in more cash to an already working formula? With box-office hits like Golmaal Again<\/em><\/strong> and Total Dhamaal<\/em><\/strong> producer Sajid probably though it’s safe to lend more dough to this hit-making project as well.<\/p>\n

With comedy films grossing very good numbers, Sajid is really investing in the fourth Housefull<\/em><\/strong> installment. Let’s hope this cookie doesn’t crumble.<\/p>\n

This time around with more money, the next Housefull<\/em><\/strong> film is really shelling out on cinematography and multiple shooting locations.<\/p>\n

“The film also has two cinematographers capturing two eras \u2014 the 16th as well as the 21st century. There are seven music composers for the film as well. Add to all this there are multiple locations and a reshoot that took place making it the most expensive comedy film thus far,\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The fourth installment in the Housefull<\/em><\/strong> franchise will see the return of Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh. This time around, the cast will also include Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, and Rana Daggubati.<\/p>\n

We will also see the return of Boman Irani.<\/p>\n

The director is different this time around. Farhad Samji will be taking over for Sajid Khan. Both Sajid Khan and Nana Patekar were dropped from the franchise due to misconduct and harassment charges against them.<\/p>\n
