Maya Ali requested parents to allow their children to follow their dreams so they don\u2019t end up regretting their choice.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Teefa in Trouble<\/strong> actress revealed that her father didn\u2019t talk to her for eight long years after she decided to step in the showbiz industry. She went on to add that she wishes her father was still here to see her gain all this success.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cMy father stopped talking to me for eight years. I miss that factor- I wish he was there, he would appreciate me, tell me off, but I remember those days when I used to say, Baba Assalamu Alaikum but he never replied me back.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>He Came Around Eventually<\/h3>\n<p>Maya also said that when she couldn\u2019t win the award for <strong>Diyaar E Dil,<\/strong> her father told her that she would win it the next time.<\/p>\n<p>Turns out he was right. The actress revealed that she won the award for <strong>Mann Mayal. <\/strong>But unfortunately for her, her father passed away before this happened.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>She requested parents to allow their children pursue the career they want to.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cLet them follow their dreams. Don\u2019t let them get to a point in life where they say, there was one chance that I never got. Please let them do it.
