The recently released Pakistani film Baaji<\/strong> has won big at the recently concluded Mosaic International South Asian Film Festival (MISAFF).<\/p>\n

The film won two awards which includes the Jury Prize while Nayyar Ijaz also got the award for Best Supporting Actor.<\/p>\n

Baaji stars Meera, Osman Khalid Butt and Amna Ilyas in the lead cast.<\/p>\n

Baaji Viewed By A Huge Crowd<\/h3>\n

Earlier, it was reported that Baaji will have a special screening at Mosaic International South Asian Film Festival (MISAFF). Now, we have also come to know that Baaji\u2019s screening was attended by a big crowd.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the biggest South Asian Film Festival in North America and Baaji was screened to a packed, sold-out crowd. Baaji has won the Jury Prize, while veteran actor Nayyar Ijaz bagged the award for Best Supporting Actor,\u201d actor Ali Kazmi was quoted by a media outlet.<\/p>\n

Saqib Malik directorial debut has been doing quite good at the box office. The \u201cBaaji\u201d director was ecstatic at his film being screened at an international event.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot just felt honored but also surprised, because I never thought of Baaji as a festival film,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Saqib Malik said that the response from the attendants of the event was quite overwhelming.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone I spoke to had liked the film. It was a mixed crowd \u2014 of Asians, Canadian Asians, and foreigners. They were entertained by the film, and especially surprised by the choice of subject; they thought it was quite bold for a Pakistani film.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
