It was a \u2018dream come true\u2019 moment for Ayesha Khurram, a Pakistani immigrant student in Canada who found help from the most unlikeliest of people. It was none other than pop culture icon Taylor Swift who decided to help this Pakistani girl achieve her goals.<\/p>\n
Ayesha was in deep trouble when the provincial government introduced severe cuts to the Ontario Student Assistance Program earlier this year. Entering the second year of the accounting and financial management program at the University of Waterloo, she didn\u2019t have the money to pay her tuition fee. Her future was in jeopardy.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to pay off tuition. It\u2019s really expensive.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Upon reading her post, one of Ayesha\u2019s friends suggested to create a Paypal account and share its details so that they could help her.<\/p>\n \u201cOne of my friends online was like, \u2018You should drop your PayPal so we can help you out,\u2019 and I was like, \u2018That\u2019s not a bad idea, I should totally do that.\u2019 And then I did.
