The 2013 action flick Waar<\/strong> played an important role in the revival of Pakistan’s film industry. The movie proved to be a big hit locally as well as internationally.<\/p>\n

Directed by a young Bilal Lashari, Waar<\/strong> broke the highest opening day business held by Bollywood’s Chennai Express<\/strong> (which starred none other than Shahrukh Khan) at that time. Just let that sink in for a minute.<\/p>\n

As we have seen, hit movies almost always get a sequel. But in the case of Waar<\/strong>, things were left cold. Until yesterday that is.<\/p>\n

Shaan Hints that “Waar 2” is in the works<\/h3>\n

The lead actor of the film, Shaan Shahid, has hinted at making a sequel to one of the biggest box office hits by him.<\/p>\n

It all happened when Shaan Shahid tweeted a picture of his film Waar<\/strong> terming it the first of its kind and a game changer in Pakistan film industry. He dropped at not-so-cryptic hint at the sequel as well.<\/p>\n
