She admitted that until now she had been dishonest to viewers that her father was dead. He also mooched off her mother as she was from an affluent family. Turns out that the mother was the provider for the household.<\/p>\n<p>In a way, her father is dead to her as he never played his role as her guardian but always a threat to someone who was, her mother.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;A father is a provider, a father is a guardian that carries your responsibility, someone who is concerned with your schooling, now someone who procreated you.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>Fiza Ali on Father Issues and Friendship<\/h3>\n<p>The <strong><em>Chunri<\/em><\/strong> actress opened up about how this childhood trauma affected her friendships. She said she envied girls who had a healthy relationship with their father.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I would be intensely jealous of girls with a good father, I could not be friends with a girl with a living father.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Even as a grown-up, she worked past her issues with her father and forgave him only because he was her mother&#8217;s husband.
