In today\u2019s social media-dominated landscape, sometimes people start to believe everything that comes their way. In one such instance, recently the news of a newspaper delivery boy clearing Central Superior Service (CSS) exam was doing the rounds across social media.<\/p>\n

The news claimed that Ghazanfar Ilyas, a resident of Bannu in KPK, who was a newspaper delivery boy in Lahore and that he has cleared his CSS examination against all odds. The news also claimed that he refused a PhD admission in an American university, and that Data Darbar was the source of his food and shelter.<\/p>\n

The news also got picked up by a lot of top print and electronic media outlets.<\/p>\n

The Truth Behind This ‘Newspaper Delivery Boy’<\/h3>\n

The alleged ‘newspaper delivery boy’ took to his social media handle to clear the air regarding the news being widely circulated.<\/p>\n

The person in question is Ghazanfar Ilyas. In a post on his Facebook profile, he set the record straight.<\/p>\n

Although, he did confirm that the news regarding his passing of CSS examination is legitimate, however, he was never a newspaper boy.<\/p>\n

Ghazanfar ilyas stated that this news has been deliberately spread in order to defame him. He also announced to take action against those who ran this malicious news.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is to clear that I\u2019ve neither worked as a newspaper delivery man nor stayed at Datadarbar Lahore during my CSS preparation. Someone has made a deliberate counterfeit to defame me on social media. I am going to launch a legal action against those who propagated this false news.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
