When an interviewer from The Telegraph<\/a> asked the Walk the Line<\/em><\/strong> actor if his character Arthur Fleck’s tragic past will encourage other people with similar circumstances to resort to violence in real life?<\/p>\n

Is Joker going to encourage lone wolves to kill?<\/h3>\n

The interviewer asked if Joaquin Phoenix thinks his Joker performance might:<\/p>\n

\u201cperversely end up inspiring exactly the kind of people it\u2019s about, with potentially tragic results.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The 44-year-old actor was irked by why the interviewer would even suggest that. He answered with:<\/p>\n

“Why? Why would you\u2026? No, no.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In fact, Joaquin Phoenix walked out of the interview right away. The interview was suspended for an hour after the walk out. He came back after talking with Warner Bros\u2019 PR team.<\/p>\n
