Nick Jonas, now a world-renowned singer, songwriter, and actor, was once just one day away from becoming comatose.<\/p>\n
Nick revealed this during an interview with Cigar<\/em> Aficionado<\/em>. He said that he almost fell into a coma at the age of 13 after being diagnosed with type-1 diabetes.<\/p>\n \u201cI was very close to a coma, like a day away, if I hadn\u2019t gone to the hospital. This New Viral Video Says Nope<\/a><\/p>\n The 27-year-old singer revealed his blood sugar levels were at 917 – nine times higher than average \u2013 when he was first diagnosed.<\/p>\n \u201cI was just so concerned that it was going to limit my ability to do all the things I wanted to do. I was terrified \u2013 it\u2019s a big life change. However, I found out very quickly; it\u2019s a very manageable disease, as long as you\u2019re diligent.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n This is not the first time the \u201cRight Now<\/em>\u201d singer has opened up about being diabetic.
