Following the positive reception of Zindagi Tamasha<\/em><\/strong>, Sarmad Khoosat is moving on to create ‘Kamli<\/em><\/strong>‘. The Manto<\/em><\/strong> actor will commence shooting Kamli<\/em><\/strong> in\u00a0Pakistan.<\/p>\n

Kamli<\/em><\/strong> cast a number of renowned actors like Saba Qamar, Sania Saeed and Hamza Khwaja. Sarmad Khoosat told Variety<\/a> that the story will be framed with ‘contemporary, universal sensibility’.<\/p>\n

With the premiere of Zindagi Tamasha<\/em><\/strong> at the Busan Film Festival, it’s no surprise Khoosat is making all his films for an international audience.<\/p>\n

\u201cA tragic love story at heart, the film is going to be a fresh mix of a rustic setting captured in a contemporary, universal sensibility.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

While Khoosat wants to cater for an International audience, he won’t be toning down cultural references. That means staying true to the story.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Zindagi Tamasha<\/em><\/strong> will also hit theaters in 2020 after a festival run. Based on the fact Zindagi Tamasha\u00a0<\/em><\/strong> was nominated for the prestigious Kim Ji-seok award at the\u00a0Busan International Film Festival, his approach to take his films is international is on the nose.<\/p>\n
