Anjum Shehzad Turns To Web Series With “Abdullahpur Ka Devdas”<\/a><\/p>\n The title of TV series is \u2018Proliferation\u2019 and will be based after two optioning non-fiction books about Abdul Khan \u2013 \u201cThe Nuclear Jihadist: The True Story of the Man Who Sold the World\u2019s Most Dangerous Secrets\u2026and How We Could Have Stopped Him\u201d and \u201cFallout: The True Story of the CIA\u2019s Secret War on Nuclear Trafficking\u201d.<\/p>\n When asked about the project, Co-Founder and Managing Director for \u2018Proliferation\u2019, Femke Wolting had this to say:<\/p>\n \u201cWhile Abdul Khan\u2019s life and story may be in the past, it could not be more relevant today. The political landscape we exist in was profoundly shaped by the proliferation that Khan unleashed, and this story is a cautionary tale of how isolated conflicts between nations can spill out on an international scale.\u201d<\/p>\n Based on the books, the story revolves around the Abdul Khan\u2019s past as it tells the tale of a seemingly ordinary engineer from Pakistan who not only developed the country\u2019s nuclear bomb but become a major player in the distribution and spread of nuclear weapon plans to Iran, Libya and North Korea during the 90s.<\/p>\n The series will be a spy thriller, depicting the story of nuclear trafficking group that span over Europe, Middle East and the United States.<\/p>\n The producers of \u2018Undone\u2019 are looking to develop a Homeland-style terrorism thriller.
