While children are the light in most people’s lives, many forget the responsibilities of parenting. Actress Hira Mani is one such example, of a parent that took her child to see the R-rated movie Joker<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

While Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker is a phenomenal film, it’s been rated R for a reason. Unfortunately in Pakistan, most parents don’t have any regard for film and video game ratings, with most children under 18 playing Grand Theft Auto<\/em><\/strong> and watching rated R films.<\/p>\n

Is Hira Mani right or wrong here?<\/h3>\n

Pagli<\/em><\/strong> actress Hira Mani is no exception. Recently the actress’ son Muzammil Salman Shaikh, talked about his experience of watching Joker<\/em><\/strong> in an interview. The child talked about how the film left an impact on him.<\/p>\n

The child being impressionable at his age has really taken Arthur Fleck’s story to heart. In the interview, Muzammil talked about how his uncle, Mani’s younger brother introduced him to Batman and showed him a very positive image of this world through some fictional characters.<\/p>\n

Following the death of his uncle, Muzammil has become a very sensitive and an emotional child.<\/p>\n

Muzammil says that he wanted to see \u2018Joker<\/em><\/strong>\u2019 because he had always has been taught that these fictional characters never play a negative role.<\/p>\n

The child’s is of the view that Arthur Fleck (Joker) was a nice person but selfish people and society changed him into a violent person. Muzammil listed the main cause of this violent transformation to be bullying as he too is bullied at school and he can totally feel his pain.<\/p>\n

Amidst all this, it is important to recall that there have been mass shootings in the United States. As a result, tight security in theaters was observed. They were also strict about adhering to the R rating, preventing children under 18 from watching the movie.<\/p>\n

Of course, this information drew ire from Samaritans. Meanwhile, Hira Mani is requesting that people be considerate when commenting on the situation.<\/p>\n
