The How I Met Your Mother<\/em><\/strong> star is the latest addition to the ensemble cast for the upcoming fourth instalment of the Matrix<\/em><\/strong> franchise.<\/p>\n

Neil Patrick Harris is currently in talks to join the stellar cast for a fourth Matrix film.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the Hollywwod Reporter,<\/a> the new Matrix<\/em> 4<\/em> <\/strong>cast includes Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss.<\/p>\n

It’s obvious that Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss are reprising their roles as Neo<\/em> and Trinity<\/em>, respectively.<\/p>\n

Matrix<\/em><\/strong> co-creator and director of The Matrix<\/em><\/strong>, Lana Wachowski is directing the new installment under the Warner Bros banner. In August, Warner Bros announced that a fourth Matrix<\/em><\/strong> movie is officially in the works.<\/p>\n

Lana Wachowski and Grant Hill are co-producing the fourth Matrix<\/em><\/strong> installment. She co-wrote the screenplay with Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell.<\/p>\n

The studio is producing and distributing the movie with Village Roadshow Productions.<\/p>\n

Currently there’s no official information about the plot or a release date for Matrix 4<\/em><\/strong>. There are reports that shooting for the fourth Matrix<\/em><\/strong> film is slated to begin early 2020.<\/p>\n

The Matrix<\/em><\/strong> became a pop-culture phenomenon when it was released in 1999. The box office hit was followed by two sequels, The Matrix Reloaded<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0The Matrix Revolutions<\/em><\/strong>. The films have collectively grossed $1.63 billion globally.<\/p>\n
