Dwayne Johnson confirmed that \u2018<strong><em>Black Adam<\/em><\/strong>\u2019 will start shooting next summer.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Rock<\/em> is playing <em>Black Adam, <\/em>an anti-hero from DC Comics who is a recurring enemy of thesuperhero <em>Shazam.<\/em> The film cast the 47-year-old action star in the titular role in <strong><em>Black Adam<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In case you didn&#8217;t know, Dwayne Johnson was an executive producer on DCEU film \u2018<strong><em>Shazam!<\/em><\/strong>\u2019. Even he can\u2019t wait to get started.<\/p>\n<h3>The Rock&#8217;s Fans are excited<\/h3>\n<p>Fans of the comic franchise and the actor are even more excited. Then they decided against it and went for a standalone film approach to DCEU.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Shazam! <\/em><\/strong>cast Asher Angel and Zachary Levi as the teenager Billy Batson and his superhero alter ego respectively.
