Lets all take a chill pill and accept the fact that the drama serial Bewafa<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/em> produced by Fahad Mustafa and Ali Raza Kazmi wants to convey some life lessons to its viewers. Though the storyline centers around a taboo topic, but it does have a clear image about all that’s happening around us almost every day.<\/p>\n

The story starts off with Kinza<\/strong> (Naveen Waqar) and Ahaan<\/strong> (Ali Rehman) being married for a good 6 years. This marriage turns into a love marriage people, when Shireen<\/strong> (Ushna Shah) drives a wedge between the two by being the other woman in their love life.<\/p>\n

You can bash all you want by bringing up arguments like the drama is encouraging cheating on your other half, but the truth is that this story depicts real-life situations. You might want to learn a thing or two out of it.<\/p>\n

Here are some of the things Bewafa<\/strong> focuses on:<\/p>\n

An Over Possessive Wife<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Here’s something a lot of women have in common – being possessive and wanting to take control. Kinza plays the role of a little-too-possessive and bossy wife.<\/p>\n

It starts off with Kinza’s bhabi sharing her doubts of her husband of being with another woman, which triggers Kinza to develop doubts for her husband Ahaan as well. And this is where the storyline takes us down a series of unfortunate events.<\/p>\n

A Disloyal Husband<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ahaan is a husband who is not very good with words. He prefers keeping things to himself rather then expressing himself to Kinza or tell her how he feels. He doesn’t like opening up.<\/p>\n

This leads him to thoughts of living an unhappy and weary life with Kinza. Eventually, Ahaan ends up being close to his colleague Shireen who has feelings for him. Ahaan seeks pleasure in sharing tidbits of his life with Shireen. She on the other hand, is determined to change her financial status, thus becomes Ahaan’s so-called well wisher and his shoulder to cry on.<\/p>\n

When will men ever learn that until they don’t open up to their wives, how can they expect them to understand their feelings?<\/p>\n

The Other Woman<\/strong><\/h2>\n

“Behind an unhappy, unsuccessful woman is the hand of another woman” and this is exactly what Shireen’s role is teaching us.<\/p>\n

Belonging to a middle-lower class family, Shireen is the only breadwinner for her needy family.<\/p>\n

Despite knowing that Ahaan is married and has a son, Shireen cleverly tricks him by pretending to be selfless and only wants Ahaan to be happy with his family. Eventually she succeeds in trapping a weak yet rich man, who ends up marrying her.<\/p>\n

A Toxic Family<\/h2>\n

Shireen’s family serves as a true definition of a toxic family. She lives with her greedy mother and little brother and an envious older sister, who sees Shireen as nothing but a money making machine.<\/p>\n

They go to any extent in order to get money, even if they have to choose the wrong path to do so. Her mother encourages her to be the other woman in Ahaan’s life, all for the sake of money and is a partner in crime when it comes to lies and deceit. Her brother initially goes against Shireen’s actions but later ends up being part of the plan when he sees Ahaan’s riches.<\/p>\n

You might want to keep a close eye on your maids<\/h2>\n

The ‘maid culture’ is a very common practice found in our society esp. in the upper-middle and higher class. Kinza and Ahaan’s son Hashir is usually left alone to be taken care of by their maid.<\/p>\n

What they don’t realize is that she\u2019s rather a nosey, greedy and unprofessional maid who mistreats Hashir and then threatens him to keep his lips sealed. She is the kind of maid who takes family tantrums as a means of gossip and entertainment for themselves, thus enjoys seeing them suffer. Hashir tries his best to complain about the nosey maid but no one seems to pay any heed to it.<\/p>\n
