While Mohsin Hamid’s novel The Reluctant Fundamentalist<\/em><\/strong> joins the ‘Crime & Conflict<\/em>‘ category. Bapsi Sidhwa’s Ice Candy Man<\/em><\/strong> was also featured in the same category ‘Crime & Conflict<\/em>‘.<\/p>\n

BBC’s list includes a whole spectrum of literary works such as classics like Jane Austin’s Pride & Prejudice<\/em><\/strong>, and\u00a0 CS Lewis’s The Chronicles of Narnia.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then there are books that lead their genres like JRR Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings<\/em><\/strong> series, Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird<\/em><\/strong>, and Angela Carter’s Nights at the Circus<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
