Reham, ex-wife of Prime Minister Imran Khan, slammed the restrictions on Maryam Nawaz while she was in jail.<\/p>\n<p>The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government denied Maryam her request for Diet Coke.<\/p>\n<p>Reham warned them of political and soft drink karma, claiming that this denial is an &#8220;unjustified restriction.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>She said, &#8220;Today you have stopped Maryam Nawaz from drinking Diet Coke. In a 2013 tweet, she called it &#8220;one of the most delectable treats&#8221; and announced her addiction to Tang, the drink mix.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A chilled diet coke is one of the most delectable treats ! She says that Imran is facing &#8220;karma&#8221; for his disposal of former political rivals.<\/p>\n<p>She drew a parallel to the 2014 PTI dharna and the dharna by Maulana Fazlur Rehman.<\/p>\n<p>She claimed,<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There was a dharna after one year [of PTI rule] ; this time Maulana Fazlur Rehman is saying the same things\u2014&#8217;There will be a shutterdown, a lockdown.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Reham claims that it is Imran&#8217;s political disloyalty that is catching up with him. She said his &#8220;small majority&#8221; is now threatening his own position and he might end up in Maryam Nawaz&#8217;s position, thirsty for freedom and a Diet Coke.<\/p>\n<p>She warned,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Tomorrow if you have to spend a day in jail, you may not be served any Coke, Pepsi or Seven-up&#8221;.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Seems like denying a soft drink to anyone is a very insulting thing indeed.
