About Babar Ali<\/h3>\n

The actor has appeared in many small-screen projects from 2002\u2019s Landa Bazar<\/em><\/strong> to 2017\u2019s Lal Ishq<\/em><\/strong>. He has a career spanning 24 years and has enjoyed considerable success in Lollywood.<\/p>\n

According to Betabiyan\u2019s distributor, Metro Live Movies, the film is about characters Niggi and Hassan who face multiple obstacles in life that do not allow them to be together.<\/p>\n

Ali plays Hassan, a loving and over-protective father to daughter, Nida. Hassan is a widower who is grappling with the death of his wife and is also the lead protagonist in the obstacle-ridden love story.<\/p>\n

Further complications arise when Hassan\u2019s daughter cannot be with her love interest because of Hassan and Nigi\u2019s relationship.<\/p>\n

In a statement to Dawn Images,<\/em><\/strong> Metro Lives Movies said that the film is targeted at families and women as a light-hearted love story.<\/p>\n

The movie\u2019s soundtrack is star-studded, featuring the vocal stylings of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Humera Channa. Other musical artists featured on the soundtrack include Shiraz Uppal, Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan, Javed Bashir, Sara Raza Khan, and Sarah Haider.<\/p>\n

The Ahsan Bari-scored musical has lyrics penned by Sabir Zafar and the film\u2019s screenwriter, Wasif Burney. The film was directed by Abdul Majid Khan. This is the director\u2019s first feature film.<\/p>\n

Cast of Betabiyan<\/h3>\n

The film\u2019s cast includes veteran actors like Saba Pervez, Javed Sheikh, and Saengeeta. It also boasts a line-up of Saima Baloch, Syed Arez, and Hiba Ali.<\/p>\n

This is Saima Baloch\u2019s first film who plays two characters in the film. In an interview, she spoke about auditioning for and working in the movie under the new director. She spoke about a minor disagreement with co-star Hiba Ali who walked off the set and didn\u2019t return for two days.<\/p>\n
