As the saying goes “true love has a habit of coming back”<\/em>, this Danish woman traveled all the way to Pakistan after the Pakistani man she loved was denied a visa.<\/p>\n

We get to see many cross-border love stories and marriages these days. In this day and age, where we think mankind has gotten selfish and greedy and that love does not exist, there are still a few people who would fight till the end and won’t give up on their love easily.<\/p>\n

Against all odds<\/h3>\n

A similar story emerged on the internet recently where Greta, a Danish woman came to Pakistan to marry the love of her life Shahzeb, a resident of Faisalabad.<\/p>\n

The beautiful story behind Greta and Shahzeb has been receiving love and support on social media platforms. Apparently, Shahzeb was denied a visa by the Danish Embassy which ruined his marriage plans. Disheartened by the news, Greta’s parents tried to support her in all the possible ways.<\/p>\n

First, they contacted a radio station to share the story behind two people from different backgrounds. The radio station actually ended up releasing a song called ‘Blacklisted love’<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Not one to give up, Greta, along with her parents, arrived in Pakistan to meet Shahzeb. And it ended well, because they also had a nice little wedding.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the couple’s first interaction, Greta recalled:<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw him for the first time at a coffee shop in Malaysia.”<\/p>\n

She also added that she found him quite handsome.<\/p>\n

While talking about her journey and her experience in Pakistan, Greta appreciated the hospitality she received and said that the culture of Pakistan is very beautiful. She further continued:<\/p>\n

\u201cPakistan gave us such a warm welcome. Shahzeb\u2019s family members welcomed us with rose petals when we arrived and it was so beautiful. Nothing like that ever happens in Denmark.”<\/p>\n
