Alia Bhatt’s sister Shaheen Bhatt recently penned down her memoir I\u2019ve Never been (Un) Happier <\/em><\/strong>,in which she opened up about her struggles battling psychological disorders. At the book launch, which was held in Mumbai, her entire family came out to support her.<\/p>\n

Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Pooja Bhatt and Alia Bhatt were seen answering questions from the media and other attendees at the launch. However, there came a point when the Mahesh Bhatt got carried away with his emotions and started ranting at the top of his voice.<\/p>\n

What actually happened?<\/h3>\n

Mahesh Bhatt talked about the times when Shaheen was battling depression and anxiety. He revealed when things were getting hard for her, she would call up a friend and cry for hours. Mahesh emphasized the importance of being a good listener as well. He continued and said that Shaheen was not “looking for answers” as such.<\/p>\n

Expecting another revelation from the filmmaker, a reporter responded to Mahesh and asked,<\/p>\n

\u201cSo you don\u2019t really want answers?\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

However, this question triggered Mahesh and in a frenzy, he replied, “There are no answers!” This came as a surprise for the media and his family as he shifted the blame for Shaheen’s condition on society.<\/p>\n

“There are pretenders who claim to have answers and they institutionalize those answers and impose them with the butt-end of a gun.\u201d He furiously added.<\/p>\n

Trying to calm him down, Shaheen yelled, \u201cPapa!\u201d<\/p>\n

Alia Bhatt, who was quite expecting this to happen, tried her best to interrupt in between and stop him from losing his temper, “I warned you that this was going to happen,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Alia was quite upset and irritated by her father and a visible discomfort could be seen on her face.<\/p>\n
