This explains why the legal body banned the TV anchor. Furthermore, the statement specified that the executive committee expressed &#8216;<em>distress and frustration<\/em>&#8216; over the recent statements made by Lucman.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Science further added that Mubasher Lucman will be allowed on LBA premises once he&#8217;s issued an apology over his &#8216;<em>unjust accusations<\/em>&#8216;.<\/p>\n<p>LBA\u00a0 also sought a written and on-air apology from the television presenter. The executive committee warned Lucman about taking further legal actions against him within the parameters of law and constitution.<\/p>\n<h3>Fawad Chaudhry vs Mubasher Lucman<\/h3>\n<p>On January 5th, both the Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry and television presenter Mubasher Lucman were attending Mohsin Leghari&#8217;s son <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>Valima<\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, Mubasher Lucman made a rude comment and Fawad Chaudhry slapped him in response. This quickly turned into a physical altercation. Several leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), including Jehangir Tareen, and Ishaq Khakwani broke up the fight.<\/p>\n<p>Later Fawad Chaudhry tweeted that Mubasher Lucman could not be considered a journalist.
