We&#8217;ve all been there, but we&#8217;ve all been missing a special feature of the national landmark.<\/p>\n<p>A Facebook user, Tahir Mahmood Chaudhry shared this secret feature of Minar-e-Pakistan, which was all but hidden in plain sight.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been hidden in plain sight all along, we just weren&#8217;t looking closely enough.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAerial view of the Minar e Pakistan designed by a Russia Architect Murat Khan who had migrated to Pakistan. The photographer&#8217;s eagle-eye view, Minar-e-Pakistan displays a flower nestled on a star embraced by two crescents, one white and one green. Why does this sound so familiar? That&#8217;s because its signifies the Pakistani flag!<\/p>\n<p>Now we&#8217;re thinking how did we miss this monument\u2019s feature!<\/p>\n<h3>Whose Idea Was This?<\/h3>\n<p>Minar-e-Pakistan was built in Lahore to mark the historic day the Pakistan Resolution was passed &#8211; March 23, 1940. That is when the journey to independence hit its final milestone before the partition of the sub-continent.<\/p>\n<p>The national monument is the brain-child of a Russian expat in Pakistan, Nasreddin Murat-Khan.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.citizensarchive.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Citizens Archive Pakistan (CAP)<\/a> collaborated with the search engine giant, Google to document how the monument was created. Together, they documented how the brilliant monument was produced.<\/p>\n<p>According to Good archives, as per a letter, Murat Khan\u2019s architecture firm\u2019s letterhead comprises of, \u201c<em>Illeri H N Murat Khan and Associates<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; letter-spacing: 5px; font-size: 16px; margin: 0;\">ALSO READ<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a style=\"font-size: 20px; font-weight: 600; font-family: Raleway ,sans-serif;\" href=\"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/lens\/top-historical-places-in-pakistan-that-you-must-visit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Top Historical Places in Pakistan That You Must Visit<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Reportedly, Murat Khan wanted to produce a &#8216;memorial that would symbolize the force which shaped Pakistan&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>The two crescents represent East and West Pakistan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In his brilliance, he created the national landmark as we see it today, in all it&#8217;s glory.<\/p>\n<p>The two crescents were seen from the eagle-eye view showing Khan\u2019s exceptional talent.<\/p>\n<p>What do you think of this quirky little design feature?
