Sajal Aly has been Pakistan’s sweetheart since her Aasmano Pe Likha<\/em><\/strong> and Noor-ul-Ain<\/em><\/strong> drama days. Now the actress got nominated for yet another ‘Best Actress Award,’ this time for the Pakistan International Screen Awards (PISA 2020).<\/p>\n

With her doe eyes and youthful face, soon enough she was known to take on the role of the shy girl from Nahni<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0to Gul-e-Rana<\/em><\/strong>. Along the way, the actress placed many ‘Best Actress’ awards to her name, with five wins at the Hum Awards 2019.<\/p>\n

Later on, with O’Rangreeza<\/em><\/strong>, the actress started experimenting with different roles. Her recent drama serial Aangan<\/em><\/strong> had people fall in love with her vivacious, and mischievous ‘Chummi<\/em>‘.<\/p>\n

Aangan<\/em><\/strong> cast Sajal Aly, Ahad Raza Mir, and Mawra Hocane in lead roles. Other cast included Ahsan Khan, Sonya Hussain, Hira Mani, Rabia Butt, etc.<\/p>\n

The period drama followed the story of three generations pre-Partition. Towards the end, the serial presented a family torn apart by geographical distance post-Partition.<\/p>\n
