He had previously\u00a0revealed that one of the reasons he chose to do <strong><em>Alif<\/em> <\/strong>was because it spreads the message of God. Hamza Ali Abbasi then announced that he would spend the rest of his life in the service of Islam.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong><em>Mann Mayal<\/em><\/strong> actor also clarified that &#8216;<em>acting is not haram<\/em>&#8216; (forbidden) in Islam. He listed his reasons for leaving the Pakistani entertainment industry to be the lack of purpose and inability to create content he wanted to.<\/p>\n<p>At the time he had briefly touched on the subject of his journey from atheism to Islam. He also vowed to spread the message of Islam.
