But he sometimes goes overboard with it and invites trouble instead.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, he appeared on<strong> Aik Din Geo Ke Sat<\/strong>h, where he discussed his political career and his goals for the youth. Mehwish Hayat is also brilliant. As minister, I recommended her name for Sitara-e-Imtiaz because her film business was beyond any other. However Fawad explained that he had always wanted youngsters to be nominated for awards. He also mentioned that when he was a minister, he used to take awards very seriously.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;It is a very interesting thing in Pakistan but people do ask for their names to be recommended for awards. So many people do it that there&#8217;s no limit to it.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>When Sohail Warraich asked him if Mehwish asked him to recommend her name for the honorary title, he refuted it and said,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;We always wanted awards to be given to the toppers in every field. We enforced this on merit as well.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Mehwish Hayat was awarded with the award on March 23, 2019 by Arif Alvi, the President of Pakistan.
