That is why the film was embroiled in a legal battle over copyrights violations. The producer of the original film Sarwar Bhatti filed a lawsuit against director Bilal Lashari and producer Ammara Hikmat.<\/p>\n

Yet, the Waar<\/em><\/strong> director powered through this legal pursuit. Two years later, Sarwar Bhatti has finally gave them his blessings as the matter was resolved. We believe that the parties opted for an out-of-court settlement.<\/p>\n

It’s been a long legal battle as the most anticipated Pakistani film of 2019 is geared for release in 2020.<\/p>\n

Recently, even the producer was reminiscing about the pre-production of this film.<\/p>\n
