The situation in India is quite bleak these days, especially since the announcement of the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act.<\/p>\n

Actress Sonam Kapoor made an appeal on social media on Sunday night. She asked her fans to be on the right side of history. Her take is that people should call out the things that are wrong with Indian society and the government these days.<\/p>\n

There have been mass protests and violence in which even a couple of mosques were set on fire by frenzied mobs. Following these incidents, some Bollywood celebrities have decided to raise their voice on the matter. One of them is actress Sonam Kapoor.<\/p>\n
