The show Mere Pass Tum Ho <\/strong>may be finished but the discussions and debates, surrounding the issues tackled by the show, continue to make headlines. Recently, it was Humayun Saeed, better known as Danish, who shared some interesting details about the drama serial in an interview with Waseem Badami.<\/p>\n

Badami is known for his humorous and blunt style of hosting. He started the interview by asking Humayun Saeed about the much-talked-about scene from the drama.<\/p>\n

He compared the drama with Indian movies and asked how was Danish able to talk to Roomi even after his lifeline went straight on the monitor.<\/p>\n

Humayun explained that such liberties are justifiable in such emotional scenes. He also said that in many cases this does in fact happen in real life.<\/p>\n

He revealed that that the writer of the drama, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar told them that his own father was alive minutes after his own lifeline had died out on the monitor.<\/p>\n

Humayun Saeed further added that Khalil was considering letting Danish live in the end up until episodes 20\u201318 episodes. According to Khalil, he was considering an end where Danish would have left both Mehwish and Hania.<\/p>\n

However, it was the director Nadeem Baig and Humayun himself who urged the writer to kill Danish in the end for a more dramatic impact.<\/p>\n

The actor was also asked about the controversy surrounding the drama and if the show really degraded women.<\/p>\n

\u201cMere Paas Tum Ho does not degrade women at all. I believe that it was the situation in which the dialogue of \u201c2 takay ke aurat\u201d was delivered that highlighted it so much! Otherwise \u201c2 takay ka admi\u201d and \u201c2 takay ke aurat\u201d are phrases that are commonly used in several dramas.<\/p>\n

It was the entire dramatic scenario where Danish was maintaining his patience throughout and suddenly calls Mehwish a \u201c2 takay ke aurat\u201d that made an impact. Otherwise the drama had a very good lesson which is in favor of women. It teaches men that even if they are being betrayed, they should calmly let go instead of resorting to violence.<\/p>\n

It teaches men patience. In fact, I was told by several men that their wives forced them to watch this drama. Why would they otherwise?\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
