Omar Aqil is a Lahore based artist who has been sharing his digital illustrations on social media. His creative ideas and use of perfect contrasts make his art stand out. The typography, illustration and graphic design artist recently took to his Instagram to share his work on the MIMIC series. The series was inspired by some of Picasso’s work.<\/p>\n

Embodying his work through the cubist style art and bizarre facial features. Omar says,<\/p>\n

This is an experimental project; making this series I have explored the new simplicity of shapes and forms to make a character\u2019s inner expression which told the whole story.<\/p>\n

There are many situations we have faced as a designer, I’m trying to illustrate these random situations in new trending style, but the main source of inspiration is definitely Picasso’s portraits.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The artist has also shared that his go-to digital software for such projects include Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4d and Octane.<\/p>\n

The talented illustrator has also uploaded his portfolio on Behance<\/a>. Omar Aqil’s illustrations have been viewed by one million users as of yet!<\/p>\n
