After it was reported that Game of Thrones <\/strong>actor Kristofer Hivju tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, another costar from the show has come forward that they too have contracted the deadly disease. This time it is the actress Indira Varma.<\/p>\n

The popular actress\u2019s shocking announcement came out just two days after Kristofer revealed his diagnosis. Indira, who is best known for her role as the Dornish queen Ellaria Sand in the megahit series Game of Thrones<\/strong>, took to her social media account on Instagram to break the news. On Wednesday, the actress wrote,<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m in bed with it and it\u2019s not nice. Stay safe and healthy and be kind to your fellow people.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The 46-year-old actor was recently seen working on play that is a modern take of Anton Chekhov\u2019s The<\/strong> Seagull<\/strong> in London\u2019s West End. She is not the only \u2018GoT\u2019 star set to perform in the play as Emilia Clarke, aka the \u2018Mother of Dragons\u2019, was also cast for the play.<\/p>\n

Currently, the play has been put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. So far, Emilia has not yet reported about her COVID-19 tests. We hope she is well and wish a speedy recovery for Indira Varma as well.<\/p>\n
