Did you know the actor who played the character of ‘Warda’<\/em> in the crime drama serial Ruswai <\/strong>is Rubina Ashraf’s daughter? Minna Tariq opened up about working on her mother’s directorial Ruswai<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The actress spilled the details in an interview with Fuchsia Magazine and talked about how she got the role and how she felt after working with such an incredible cast.<\/p>\n

Minna Tariq first appeared in the 2012 drama Vanee<\/strong>. After completing that project, she went back to her studies and started college. She said that at that time she had gained a lot of weighed and decided to return to television after shedding off some fat.<\/p>\n

“When I lost weight I started approaching companies. And since I had a know how about Six Sigma Plus, I approached to give me some work.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So how did she end up in Ruswai<\/em><\/strong>? Was it an outcome of nepotism or was it a fair trial? When the host asked Minna about how she landed a role in Ruswai<\/strong>, she replied;<\/p>\n

“It was at the same time when they approached my mother for Ruswai so it kind of fell into place. She asked me to read the script and then I gave an audition. I got confirmed a few weeks later,”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Minna also talked about how she got closer to her co-stars as she joined a little later than the rest.<\/p>\n

“My entry was late in the drama. So one day my mother texted me to come and meet everyone. That\u2019s how I met everyone and got comfortable with them. But I was very scared and nervous to work with Mikaal Zulfiqar.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

 <\/p>\n

She said that since Mikaal is a huge celebrity, she expected some star tantrums from him. But she discovered that he is nothing like that. In fact, Minna has become his fan.<\/p>\n

“I turned out to be Mikaal\u2019s fan after working with him in Ruswai<\/em><\/strong>.\u201d Minna Tariq added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
