We should know by now that jealousy stems from insecurity<\/a>. Turns out even the best of us have been there as Gauri Khan spills the tea on Shahrukh Khan’s jealous antics.<\/p>\n

The Main Hoon Na<\/em><\/strong> producer revealed that Bollywood’s Badshah wasn’t always as suave as he was onscreen. In an appearance on Rendezvous with Simi Garewal<\/i><\/strong>, Gauri Khan opened up about King Khan’s ‘possessiveness’.<\/p>\n

The interview is quite old, like 1997 old. And it seems like we all missed this as the young couple open up about the struggles of young love.<\/p>\n

Gauri recounts that the two met at a party and started dating. However, things went south soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was possessiveness. It has turned to protectiveness. He was disgustingly possessive, he was sick. He wouldn\u2019t let me wear a white shirt because he thought that it was transparent. It was a kink in the mind, I think.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

When Gauri called SRK ‘disgustingly possessive,<\/em>‘ the\u00a0Zero<\/strong><\/i> actor agreed that his behavior in the past had been ‘downright vulgar<\/em>‘. He explained his jealousy to have stemmed from a ‘lack of ownership<\/em>‘.<\/p>\n

\u201cI knew her but nobody knew that I knew her, so there was this whole feeling of lack of ownership. Whether it\u2019s a man or a woman, I think both of them want to have it. So one just felt like…somehow to control, and I had become very cheap.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Gauri revealed that she had to teach King Khan to roll with it the hard way.<\/p>\n

\u201cI kicked him and left him for very long. He had to learn because I said, \u2018Okay, bye. Otherwise, you will never see me again<\/em>\u2019.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

How did Shah Rukh Khan win back Gauri?<\/h3>\n

Turns out, his filmy grand romantic gestures are not limited to the screen. Once Gauri headed to Mumbai to vacation with her friends. SRK went after her to woo her back. He looked for her around the city, till he finally found her at a beach.<\/p>\n

SRK even revealed that he fell for how Gauri was his polar opposite.<\/p>\n

“That’s what I love about her, she’s the complete opposite what I am.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n
