The Karachi-based teenager was kidnapped for ransom, and there was a lot of talk in the media for why the kidnappers were still roaming the streets of our country freely.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/ShahSheraz3\/status\/1203252741436583937<\/p>\n<p>On March 18th, two suspects were arrested out of a gang of five, who were behind Dua&#8217;s kidnapping. They were found in different areas of the country and were on trial for suspected kidnapping for ransom.<\/p>\n<p>Later, at a court hearing in Judicial Magistrate South, Karachi, Dua identified the two kidnappers and said that they, along with their accomplices, kidnapped her from outside of a restaurant. The suspects, Zohaib Qureshi and Muzaffar, had been under confinement for a week.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Both suspects, Zohaib Qureshi and Muzaffar, have been in police custody for a week.<\/p>\n<p>Two more suspects are under arrest in the case and one of them, according to the Karachi police chief, is a former city cop<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/SamaaTV?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#SamaaTV<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ouNFzKTFzp\">https:\/\/t.co\/ouNFzKTFzp<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Samaa News (@SamaaEnglish) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SamaaEnglish\/status\/1244639686309621761?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 30, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Additional IG Ghulam Nabi Memon confirmed that the five-member kidnappers&#8217; gang that was behind Dua Mangi and Bisma&#8217;s kidnapping was led by an ousted police officer.<\/p>\n<p>He also added that the raids were conducted in different areas of Pakistan after the intelligence reports were confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Penal Code of Pakistan, if a criminal abducts a person for the intent of extorting a valuable asset, they shall be punished by death or life imprisonment.<\/p>\n<p>We hope justice is brought to the families of Dua and Bisma.<\/p>\n<p>Have anything to add?
