While even Muslim countries have bans on all gathering including congregational prayers, the Indian government is cracking down participants of Tablighi Jamaat.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, there were <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/news\/politics-and-nation\/coronavirus-outbreak-no-religious-social-political-gatherings-of-over-50-in-delhi-till-march-31\/articleshow\/74650421.cms?from=mdr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">no bans in place to prevent social gathering<\/a> and the Tableeghi Jamaat proceeded as planned. Jammat held gathering in Delhi before lockdown &amp; ban on religious gatherings. After lockdown, they wrote to Police to arrange transportation to leave.
