Popular singer and songwriter Jennifer Lopez appeared on a recent episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show<\/strong>\u2019s \u2018at-home edition\u2019 to share some news about her plans for 2020 which are now postponed due to the coronavirus or COVID-19 lock-down.<\/p>\n

The singer had wedding plans with her fianc\u00e9 Alex Rodriguez that have been put on hold till the pandemic is under control.<\/p>\n

She said:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt did affect it a little bit. So, we will see what happens now. Honestly, I really don\u2019t know what\u2019s going to happen now as far as dates or anything like that. We\u2019re just kind of in a holding pattern like the rest of the world. So, again, it\u2019s something we\u2019re just going to have to wait and see in a few months how this all pans out,\u201d said the 50-year-old pop singer.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ellen did her best to suggest that J-Lo and A-Rod could perhaps try having a TikTok wedding, since the couple\u2019s videos on the platform have become very popular. The idea does seem intriguing and fun but we don’t know if J-Lo was that much into it when she replied,<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s something to think about. I can\u2019t make any commitments right now.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The couple got engaged last year around the same time, and the two had maintained that they\u2019re not planning to rush down the aisle. Jennifer Lopez also revealed that the two talked at length about their plans before diving into it during Oprah Winfrey\u2019s 2020 Vision Tour.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we first got engaged, I was like, \u2018Are we\u2019re gonna get married in a couple months?!\u2019 He was like, \u2018Whatever you want to do, like, we can talk about it.\u2019 I said, \u2018But if we\u2019re going to be together for the rest of our lives, what is the rush?\u201d she said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Jennifer Lopez was not at all worried about the wedding being delayed as she was more concerned about the global pandemic and how it was affecting everyone. She spoke to Ellen about how the couple\u2019s giving back \u2013 they\u2019ve donated one million meals each to Feeding America through the organization\u2019s partnership with Wheels Up\u2019s Meals Up.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is nice to see J-Lo doing everything she can to help out during this global crisis. We all wish her well and hope to see the much-anticipated wedding in the near future.<\/p>\n
