When it comes to her paternal family, Mahira Khan says she has been very lucky. Hence, the Raees<\/strong> actress cannot seem to relate to desi stories about kids not being happy with their father\u2019s family as much as their mother\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Recently, Mahira took to Instagram to introduce her fans and followers to two of her maternal aunts (or as we mainly say, phophos) and paid a heartwarming tribute to them. Check it out!<\/p>\n

Mahira wrote a long heartfelt note in the caption in which she not only introduced her phuphos but fondly recalled some of her favorite childhood memories of spending time at their house.<\/p>\n

The actress shared her time growing up in a joint family. Here\u2019s what she said in her post,<\/p>\n

\u201cI always grew up hearing how Phupos were not always the best, stories about kids not enjoying their father\u2019s family as much as their mothers (Might be a desi thing?). I never really got that. All of us together. Even those who didn\u2019t live with us were always around. I have two Phupos and God you all can\u2019t imagine what they are like.<\/p>\n

They are beautiful, funny, kind and strong women. My older Phupo (Surraiya), looked after her parents along with my father like they were her babies. The woman who works for her eats with her on their table\u2026 I have never seen that anywhere.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Mahira also believes that she has been very fortunate to have lived with all these relationships. The actress wanted to share more about her paternal family but she has kept it for a later date.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like we are who we are because of all these relationships and people we have grown up with. There is so much of my Dadi Dada in them and there is so much of them in me. I thank God every day for them and my Chachas (I have 2, but that\u2019s for another day),\u201d the Superstar<\/strong> actress concluded.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We agree with Mahira Khan that there is nothing more worthy of cherishing in this world than relationships. We all must value the relations around us and be thankful to Allah for bestowing upon us this blessing.<\/p>\n
