Indian fans are telling Saba Qamar that ‘Angrezi Medium<\/em><\/strong>‘ just wasn’t the same without her. The actor’s Bollywood debut Hindi Medium<\/em><\/strong> was so well received that it led to a sequel film.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately with the Bollywood ban on Pakistani artists, Kareena Kapoor replaced the Baghi<\/strong> actress for the sequel<\/a> Angrezi Medium<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Saba Qamar recently held an Instagram live-session with her fans and some Indian fans spilled the tea on Angrezi Medium<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In fact, the film isn’t doing well on the Indian digital streaming platform Hotstar either. Fans just weren’t feeling the spin-off film.<\/p>\n

Replacing Saba Qamar may have turned the follow-up film into a spin-off. Meanwhile, Bollywood has remained firm that the Bollywood ban would affect Pakistan more than India.<\/p>\n

Hindi Medium<\/em><\/strong> (2017) cast Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar as the leads. When the film ended up bagging USD $45 million at the global box-office, producer Dinesh Vijan decided on creating a sequel.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe response we have got is phenomenal. The entire unit of Hindi Medium, including Irrfan and Saba, who look cool as a couple on-screen, should be repeated in a film. There is definitely scope for a sequel. We would certainly explore it.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n
