Yet the struggle for representation continues with television series like <strong><em>911: Lone Star<\/em><\/strong>. They got the portrayal of a Muslim supporting character so bad, it has to be seen to be believed.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;d think with a Muslim character on-screen the struggle would representation would end, but no. The series couldn&#8217;t even get the proper way to offer &#8216;<em>Salaah<\/em>&#8216; (Muslim prayer) right.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s apparent that the showrunners for 911: Lone Star have not done their research, even when there are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=salaah&amp;rlz=1C1CHBF_enPK822PK824&amp;oq=salaah&amp;aqs=chrome..69i57.4554j0j9&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">dozens of tutorials on the subject<\/a>. They wasted no time in lending their experience free of cost, adding some value to the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/911LoneStar?src=hashtag_click\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">#911LoneStar<\/a>\u00a0 trend.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>911: Lone Star<\/em><\/strong> was really just relying on stereotypes.
