We just need to be better, he says.<\/p>\n<p>He asked the industry to take responsibility. Pakistani showbiz is tanking due to the lack of good content, not because we allow foreign content a market in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>Gohar did not mince any words.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Any foreign content which is being appreciated by our Pakistani audience is not a threat! It\u2019s a competition like in any business! If you want job security, take ownership, and create better content. When the local industry does create good content such as <strong><em>Humsafar<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Kaneez<\/em><\/strong>, or <strong><em>Cheekh<\/em><\/strong>, people are glued to their TV screens.<\/p>\n<p>Local producers need to get creative with their content. Gohar stressed that producers need to embrace diversity and grow from the competition.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIn the name of competition, you don\u2019t criticize your competition, instead, bring your A-game on! Fix your attitude. That\u2019s what I have learned from my seniors like Humayun Bhai.
