<\/p>\nIt’s been a week since PIA flight PK-8303 fell from the skies and left untold tragedy in it’s wake. Almost 100 people lost their lives on their way home. By luck or by God’s will, two onboard passengers on the ill-fated flight miraculously survived.<\/p>\n
One of the two survivors, Zafar Masud is the son of legendary actor Munawar Saeed.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview with a media channel, Munawar Saeed talked about the incident and how he found out about his son’s survival.<\/p>\n
After performing his Friday prayers, he went to recite Dua-e-Tawassul as part of his daily routine.<\/p>\n
“He always used to inform me by sending a text message if he has arrived safely. He was supposed to land by 3, however, I did not receive any message from him.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Munawar Saeed found out about the incident from a relative. As he turned on his television, he saw the images of the plane crash.<\/p>\n
While he was watching the news, he received a call from an unknown number,<\/p>\n
“That was Zafar,” he said. “He told me that he is in the hospital right now and that he is safe.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
