With Malik Riaz bringing a defamation case of Rs. 5 Billion against Uzma Khan, and the Jawani Phir Nahi Aani <\/strong>actress later taking back her FIR against him, we thought the case had been put to rest.<\/p>\n

But like every other controversial case, this fiasco lives on.<\/p>\n

The Case Against Uzma Khan & Usman Malik<\/h3>\n

In the video that Amna Usman posted explaining her actions, she accused her husband, Usman Malik, of having an extramarital affair with Uzma. She also mentioned the use of cocaine and alcohol by them.<\/p>\n

Advocate Azhar Mehmood Khokhar, considering the above-mentioned accusations by Amna, has now filed a petition against both Usman and Uzma. He filed this petition under section 22-A and 22-B of Cr.PC.<\/p>\n

During his petition in the sessions court, Lahore, he said:<\/p>\n

Amna Usman in the video clearly accused her husband and Uzma of having an extra-marital affair and also for consuming drugs and alcohol. It is against the cultural and moral norms of Pakistani society. I being a responsible citizen want to file an FIR against them. I also want the authorities to arrest and take strict action against the culprits (Usman and Uzma).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The two have reportedly been called to a court hearing on 20th June 2020.<\/p>\n

The Case Against Amna Usman<\/h3>\n

In other news, lawyer & activist, Hassaan Niazi has also filed a petition against Amna Usman. According to him, Amna has wrongfully accused him of holding a personal grudge against Malik Riaz. He said,<\/p>\n

I have sent legal notice to #AminaUsmanMalik for the baseless allegations and desperate insinuations against me. I hope she has evidence to prove in the court of law all that she alleged. I will not compromise on the principles neither will I bow down to any pressure.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
