Pakistan is witnessing a continuous rise in the figures of coronavirus cases and yet the public is not taking it seriously.<\/p>\n

From citizens flocking to markets, to shops operating without SOPs and people traveling in public transports without masks, is the country really making a progress against the novel coronavirus?<\/p>\n

We don’t think that’s the case. At this point, we need more platforms and public service initiatives to raise awareness among the people.<\/p>\n

For this specific reason, the Government of Punjab recently organized a meeting with social media influencers to ensure that the important information becomes easily accessible to all.<\/p>\n

The Governor Punjab and his wife invited top Pakistani TikTokers to tackle the misinformation regarding coronavirus.<\/p>\n

The TikTokers were instructed to create awareness about the virus and its leading threats through this platform. Kanwal Aftab, Haris Ali, Zulqarnain Sikandar, Sehar Hayyat and many other TikTok stars were seen sharing their concerns and how they can promote the need of implementing proper measures through the social media platform.<\/p>\n
