But I want to keep myself attached to my religion while still being part of the world. But I am still not quitting music.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Speaking about the recitation of Azaan that recently took the internet by storm, Atif said he had a lifelong wish of reciting Azaan at the Holy Kaaba in Mecca, where the idea originally came from.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI had heard that during the times of our Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), people used to go up to their roofs to recite the Azaan. That\u2019s where the idea came from and I just went with it without a second thought.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He said that he feels blessed to get a chance like this.<\/p>\n<p>He also talked about his recent Coke Studio performance of Asma-ul-Husna, which received massive acclaim from around the world during the month of Ramazan.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIn life, we do a lot of things, some are virtuous some are sins. I was lucky enough to have performed Tajdar-e-Haram, and I consider myself very lucky to have gotten a chance to perform Asma-ul-Husna.
